Welcome to St Paul’s Church for the 4th Sunday of Advent

Today is the Fourth Sunday of Advent, which brings us
to the quiet threshold of Christmas. The waiting is
almost over, yet the Church invites us to pause rather
than rush ahead. In today’s Gospel, Joseph listens to
God in the middle of uncertainty and chooses
faithfulness without knowing how the story will end. On
the Fourth Sunday of Advent, we are reminded that God
often works not through massive, exciting things, but
through trust, obedience, and our ordinary lives offered
in love. As we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth, we are
invited to make space for God’s work among us and to
take our own next faithful step.
