Ride to the Sunshine 2020

Virgin Money Giving

My story

Please join us in fundraising for a dear friend of ours and two charities close to her heart and ours.

Chrissie Jackson lives in Newquay and while taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in 2018, she fell ill and was subsequently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Although there is no cure, she is now being helped to prolong her life for as long as possible. Chrissie has been an inspiration to many ever since and along with the numerous fundraising efforts of her own, she still has many personal dreams and ambitions to achieve.

We will be cycling a route of 280 miles starting at the home of the Clipper Race in Gosport, Hampshire and finishing in Chrissie’s home town of Newquay in Cornwall. We will be riding in support of two outstanding charities.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Unicef UK the Charity Partner of the Clipper Race.
