Ash Wednesday Service

Wednesday St Paul’s Church at 7pm

Dear all. Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday when we begin a forty-day period of repentance, fasting and preparation for Easter. We will begin our Lenten journey together with a service in the Lady Chapel at 7pm which will include an offer of the imposition of ashes. From 11am until 12pm we will be offering ashes to people along the Walworth Road. We’ll meet at the church at 10:45am. For those unable to make our service tomorrow in the Lady Chapel there will also be an opportunity to receive ashes during our 9:30am service on Sunday.
