Hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St Matthew
Dear all. Tomorrow we begin Creationtide: the season from the beginning of September to St Francis’ Day when churches around the world give thanks for God’s creation, pray for its healing, and renew our care for our common home.
Tomorrow is especially significant, as we celebrate the new Festival of Creation in Christ for the first time. General Synod gave final approval to it in July, so it now has a place in the Church of England’s calendar each year.
This is a time for us to remind ourselves that all things were made through Christ, all things hold together in him, and all things are destined for renewal in him. Come along to mass tomorrow as we praise God with all creation, and hear again the good news that the Word through whom all things were made became flesh and lived among us. See you then
